Just that the album was so mediocre.
Makes me a little sad for them. :DNataleehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04364502896986811559noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11801053.post-69450633062253935062010-04-05T12:04:09.983-04:002010-04-05T12:04:09.983-04:00Natalee: First, thanks for stopping by, as I know ...Natalee: First, thanks for stopping by, as I know and respect that you are more of a fan than I. I actually really wanted to like this album more than I did. It had a cover that hearkened back to Awake which is just brilliant, and initially (for the first minutes of the first track) felt and sounded good. Then things just started to fall apart. I agree, they are very talented. I just wish they would use that talent to do something new and interesting.Peterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15196824127699828353noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11801053.post-22131926492081893572010-04-05T11:48:40.117-04:002010-04-05T11:48:40.117-04:00It's really too bad, because separately they a...It's really too bad, because separately they all have so much talent.
It's the album of a band that has simply...given up.Nataleehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04364502896986811559noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11801053.post-43456510932808213042010-04-04T11:31:44.021-04:002010-04-04T11:31:44.021-04:00You know, I honestly wouldn't waste my time. ...You know, I honestly wouldn't waste my time. The only reason I would say someone should listen to this is if they really have enjoyed everything the band has done recently. If not, this will do nothing to sway you, is it is exactly like just about everything Dream Theater has done since Jordan Rudess has joined the band, with the exception of Metropolis Part II and Train of Thought. Those are the only two stand out records since he joined. I think Kevin Moore is better off working with Matheos than these guys.Peterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15196824127699828353noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11801053.post-59710321419574525862010-04-04T11:00:49.292-04:002010-04-04T11:00:49.292-04:00I haven't even heard a single track off of thi...I haven't even heard a single track off of this album.
